The pub sponsors the village cricket team and is the ‘clubhouse’ for our teams and visiting teams.  We provide hot food after every match.

We currently have two teams, both playing in the Cornwall Cricket League.  Our first team is currently in division two and our 2nd team (composed mainly of young players) plays in division 8.  The ground is located 5 minutes walk away at Tregurtha View which is one of the most attractive cricket grounds in the county. Our club captain is Sid Lawrence.
